Bushmen returning from hunt
Unchartered Africa is offering an incredible opportunity to witness and participate in a rapidly disappearing Bushmen ritual: an eight night initiation hunt, followed by 2 nights at Jack’s Camp and ending with 4 nights at the enigmatic Tsodilo Hills. The trip will be led by Ralph Bousfield, an expert in the Kalahari and the Bushmen. Experts that will be on this trip include Carole Beckwith and Angela Fisher – creators of the extraordinary book Rituals and Ceremonies, David Coulson – Chairman of The African Rock Art Association (TARA) and Alec Campbell, the first Director of National Parks in Botswana and the leading expert on African rock art, whose efforts ensured that 17% of Botswana was placed under protection.
