Photo tips: This shot had the elephants facing left, but was flipped.  Animals moving to the right create more mental harmony to the western eye.  Objects moving right to left often create a feeling of tension. Heavy vignetting in post processing can make images more dramatic.

Photo Tips Find a way to separate the subject from ‘the herd’.  In this case, a “fill the frame” concept was used. When framing the shot, leave room for the subject to ‘walk into’ On dark subjects, check the histogram to make sure you do not lose detail.
